Roberta Cykon, CCP
Established in 1973 and Re-invented in 2005, Roberta is the President and Founder of Motivation For You, LLC and lives in Fowler, Ohio with her family. She is an ordained minister and is passionate about God and the unique ministry to which He has called her, especially as it relates to motivating others to Heal their Heart and Inspire another through their life experiences. Roberta has received great inspiration from Joyce Meyer Ministries. Roberta has accumulated experience in the areas of transition, grief coaching, grief and motivation based facilitation, and leadership development training and coaching.
Motivation For You originally began serving individuals and families, providing various forms of coaching, professional encouraging and assistance during bereavement, transition, and many other areas. Roberta has been effective in helping individuals and families create resilience in recovering from setbacks, become focused on the present to achieve their vision and more equipped to seize opportunities especially those individuals who are in a life changing or challenging situation. Since then, Motivation For You, has been revamped to assist women of all ages and walks of life to turn their "pain into purpose" and become a confident person and elevate into a woman of significance. Roberta has been a key note speaker at several conferences all aimed at positively impacting a hurting world.
Roberta is also the Founder and Director of Integrity Beauty Women of Excellence, which is a division of Motivation For You, LLC and it is focused on teaching women to live a life of excellence and principals which typify the Proverbs 31 woman. Roberta’s desire is to heal a hurting world one person at a time. Roberta believes that if you continue to sit idle, this world will not change. You have to be willing to get up and be bold enough to take the chance to allow others to hear your testimony. Roberta believes strongly in disclosure and feels it is awesome to know the life experience that you may once have felt shamed about, can save thousands of lives and give them a renewed sense of hope.
Roberta worked diligently in 2011 with the City of Warren, Ohio to create the Helen L. Albert Day of Prayer and Paying it Forward, The Helen L. Albert Parkway, Dedicating the Key to the City to Helen L. Albert’s Family and also recognizing Van Wye St SE as the street of the First African American Registered Nurse in Trumbull County. Roberta organizes and directs the Annual Integrity Beauty Helen L. Albert Memorial Events. Roberta has been recognized as the 2013 America’s Super Pageant Who’s Who of Pageantry Honorable Mention as the Director and Founder of Integrity Beauty, 2013 Tribune Chronicle Community Star, 2012 Trumbull County Children Services Rising Up and Moving on Award, 2012 Tiara Magazine Inspirational Woman of the Year, 2012 Natalie's Pageant Closet Magazine Directors Making a Difference, and YOU Magazine’s Editors Choice of Inspiring Women. Roberta created her own Blog Talk Radio Show called Motivation Through the Storm and The Voices of Integrity Beauty. Roberta has been on various news stations and community television shows, and also has been a keynote speaker and Mistress of Ceremonies. Roberta has also been featured in newspapers such as the Warren Tribune Chronicle, Youngstown Vindicator, and The Jambar. She has been the cover model for BBW Beauties and Tiara Magazine.
Roberta started Youngstown State University in the Fall of 2011. Roberta's goal is to get her Master's degree in social work and she plans to build a respite home for women called the Integrity Beauty House. This home will be used to help women heal from adversity and empower them to use their testimony to inspire others. Roberta's personal goal is to have an opportunity to be recognized to speak on a National television show to discuss the "Integrity Beauty story." She believes every day she is getting closer to her goal and she is only one person away from her miracle. Roberta believes someone will hear her story at the right time and will be able to help her have the Integrity Beauty Story recognized for the powerful message that changed her life, and it will have the opportunity to change many other lives around the world.
In 2012, Integrity Beauty Women of Excellence has created their first Young Women of Excellence Chapter in Warren, Ohio, Motivation For You SHE (Striving Higher Every Day) Squad In Warren, Ohio, Motivation For You, Women of Significance Founded in Fowler, Ohio and Roberta is currently creating a Youngstown State University Integrity Beauty Women of Excellence Sisterhood Organization. In 2013, Roberta has become a published author and released the Integrity Beauty Story, From Pain Into Purpose short documentary produced by Aven Films.
Roberta believes in making a difference by helping others realize and achieve greatness, passion, and excellence in their lives. It is her passion, to help those who feel that they do not have a voice to be heard. Roberta’s journey has given her the capacity to use her openness and ability to listen and talk to people boldly without shame or guilt. Roberta believes that God has a purpose for her in using her life's experiences in sharing her testimony to empower others. Roberta is blessed with the opportunity to speak with so many who have a true passion to help heal this hurting world and inspire others lives’ but do not have a positive direction to know how to motivate themselves and allow their passions to be heard. Roberta simply loves to help others use their pain and create a purpose for their lives that they would have left otherwise in their shadow.
